Sarah Chung Park

A beauty industry veteran since 2003, Sarah has worked with over 300 brands and retailers. She founded Landing in 2012, and leads strategy, sales and marketing. She was formerly CEO of Periscope Solutions, a market research agency with clients including AmorePacific, Johnson & Johnson, GoSMILE and Vitamin Water. Sarah has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Allure, Los Angeles Times, Women’s Wear Daily, Hollywood Reporter, Australian Financial Review among others. She graduated from Boston University.

Sarah was voted the funniest three years of high school.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Lisa Tahk

Lisa Tahk oversees Marketplace, finance, HR, general operations and legal at Landing. Prior to joining Landing, she was a partner of Strategic Law Partners focused on venture capital and general corporate law for early stage companies in the tech, food and design sectors. Lisa started her legal career at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati She was a private investor in Handsome Coffee Roasters and managed their acquisition by Blue Bottle Coffee, LLC. She attended the University of California, Berkeley for undergraduate studies and received her legal degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Lisa can frequently be found enjoying a gin martini and french fries after work and is faithful participant in Landing’s #wordle slack channel.

Sarah Kim

With over 20 years of experience in IT, Sarah Kim manages Landing’s overall development process including external partnerships and internal resources. Working closely with our tech team, Sarah leverages her extensive project management and strategic development experience to lead the development of new Landing platform features. Prior to joining Landing, Sarah put her expertise to use in diverse contexts from state government to large manufacturing companies. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from MIT.

Outside of work, you can find Sarah cheering on Philly sports teams. Fly Eagles Fly!

Destiny Villarreal

Destiny is an accomplished beauty industry professional with extensive experience in business development, merchandising, and brand management. She has previously held key roles including Divisional Merchandise Manager of Beauty at JCPenney, where she spearheaded the build of the retailer’s new beauty concept focused on highlighting diversity and inclusion in beauty. Her strategic insights have guided leading beauty brands such as bareMinerals, Buxom Cosmetics, and Joico Haircare. With a deep understanding of the beauty landscape, Destiny is a leading strategist dedicated to driving growth and innovation in the industry.

In her spare time she loves to bake and started a home bakery while on an extended maternity leave.

RanJan Barua

Finance and operations executive with over 15 years of broad business experience developing and leading multifunctional organizations to provide best in class finance, strategy, sales and operations support across large multinationals and venture backed small and mid-sized businesses in technology, saas, cpg, beauty, solar, aerospace, energy, utilities, banking and real estate sectors.

In his free time, RanJan loves to travel and play rec league baseball on the weekends!

Peter Chung

Peter began his career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley during the dot com boom. However, a love for storytelling and visual artistry led him to make the bold choice to relocate to Los Angeles where he worked as an award winning documentary director and editor of creative advertising for clients such as Alphabet, Amazon, HBO, ABC, Nickelodeon, and MTV to name a few. Peter’s role at Landing International is a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and the power of merging technology with creative expression. Peter received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Boston University.

In his free time, Peter loves making legos with his two sons!

John Dezes

John Dezes supports the operations department and helps oversee all aspects of the order management process, including ensuring the timely delivery of shipments, inventory management, and maintaining efficient lines of communication between brands, retailers and our 3PL. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Management Science and recently earned his master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

When not at work, you can find John at the local movie theater or cheering in the stands at Dodger Stadium.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, RETAIL PARTNERSHIPS

Miyah Gaston

Miyah Gaston is the Retail Partnerships Associate, she assists with supporting brands in the retail space. She works closely with retailers to ensure all product info like images and copy is up to date, ensuring brands are looking their best and doing all they can to succeed! Before joining Landing Miyah had experience as an Assistant Buyer for an E-commerce site and as a Senior Associate at Starcom Media. She received her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising at Framingham State University.

Fun Fact: Miyah drove 44 hours from Boston to LA! Making it a 6-day road trip.

ASSOCIATE, RETAIL PARTNERSHIPS

Rachel Ly

Rachel assists with maintaining relationships between brands and retailers in Landing’s Marketplace division. She provides support through sales data analyzation to ensure brands are succeeding in their array of retail spaces. Before joining the landing team, Rachel built an extensive background in sales, serving as an Inside Sales Representative at STIIIZY and Ember Valley. She earned a B.S. in Multimedia Communications from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

On the weekends, you can find Rachel at a thrift store or flea market. She loves finding vintage scarves since they remind her of her grandmother.

Juan Maldonado

Juan is an Accounting Associate at Landing International, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both public and private accounting sectors. A graduate of Cal State LA, Juan specializes in Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and Full Cycle Accounting. Known for his strong work ethic, Juan is a dedicated team player who consistently takes initiative to ensure the success of his team and organization.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching the Los Angeles Lakers.

Janette Medina

Working closely with our community of beauty advisors, Janette helps manage Landing’s education-related programs and oversees the planning, logistics and execution of retail store training. She is proficient in mapping customer journeys, defining strategy, tactical planning and execution, up-selling, cross-selling, and relationship building. She has over 10 years in the Beauty industry specializing in high volume retail sales, strategic business planning, and educational development.

In her free time, Janette enjoys working out including: boxing, cycling and hiking!

Brian Park

Brian has over 10 years of experience in product marketing, primarily in the beauty and packaged foods industry. He successfully founded and sold a skincare brand that reached its peak distribution in 2500 retail stores. With hands-on expertise in product development, marketing, and distribution, Brian now serves as a product manager, focusing on generating new features for Landing’s mobile app and platform.

Brian is considered the funniest spouse among friends, family, and co-workers.

Harry Rust

Supporting the operations department, Harry handles all facets of the order management process, from ensuring the timely delivery of shipments to facilitating communication between our brands, retailers and 3PL. Harry attended Kenyon College, where he received his BA in art history, with a concentration in classical architecture.

Nadia Suttle

Nadia manages Landing’s events, partnerships, Public Relations and the digital beauty community. She brings to Landing over 13 years of communications, marketing, and events experience and 8 years in the beauty industry. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Cal State Fullerton.

As a kid, Nadia hosted a nightly talk show in her living room, interviewing her family members as her guests.

Vichida Vongvanij

Based in our Bangkok office, Vichida works closely with internal marketing teams to develop creative materials aligning with the target audience in each channel. She manages external contributors to ensure deliverables are on-brand, meet key business objectives, and are delivered on time and on budget. She also serves as the liaison between marketing and product team to ensure synergy between marketing goals and technology requirements. She received her bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship at Loyola Marymount University.

Vichida was obsessed with Barbies as a kid and loved to update their look with makeup.
